It was in 1987 that the company first started manufacturing chocolates, crystallised fruit and other products on a small scale, using traditional methods of 'chocolatiering'.  Right from the start, Bouchard's products were much appreciated and the "neapolitans" (miniature chocolate bars) proved particularly successful.
