From the foundation of the company in 1919 right up to the present day, AUTOFLUG has remained a medium-sized family enterprise.
Rescue and Safety Technology
IAUTOFLUG develops and manufactures safety seats for the European Helicopter programmes TIGER and NH90 as well as for armoured land vehicles, such as MBTs and LAVs. In the event of a crash or mine blast, AUTOFLUG safety seats absorb a major portion of the impact forces. This provides occupants with enhanced chances of survival.
AUTOFLUG is responsible for the support, service and overhaul of all Martin-Baker ejection seats in the German Air Force. More than 320 pilots of the German Air Force owe their lives to ejection seat systems maintained by AUTOFLUG.
AUTOFLUG produces a wide range of parachutes, landing systems with inflatable impact absorbers as well as restraint systems. AUTOFLUG manufactures the emergency parachute systems for all the participating nations within the multinational programmes of TORNADO and EUROFIGHTER.
AUTOFLUG supplies humanitarian rescue services with safety systems such as inflatable life tents, inflatable decontamination tents and showers, inflatable rescue stretchers, inflatable dinghies and manifold accessories for all AUTOFLUG inflatable equipment.
