CONRAC GmbH: Integrated display solutions for FIDS/PIDS
Conrac GmbH is an internationally operating manufacturer of professional display products and system solutions. Headquarters, R&D and production are based in Weikersheim, Germany. Subsidiaries and sales offices in Europe, in the UAE, South America and Asia, as well as many partners all over the globe, make sure to be close to the customer.
Founded in 1956, the main objective has always been the development and production of innovative products. Since the early 70's Information Display Systems have played a decisive role in Conrac's range of products. With airport installations in more than 50 countries worldwide, Conrac is one of the market leaders for the supply of FIDS and PIDS, offering the displays as well as complete system solutions: Hardware, software and training. Conrac's FIDS/PIDS software is constantly updated and adapted to market and customer requirements by an own team of software engineers.
In the meantime the range of applications for these products has expanded considerably. Previously used exclusively in airports and railway stations there is now growing demand - often in combination with advertising - in many other domains such as public buildings, sports facilities, hotels, conference and exhibition centers just to name a few.
The product portfolio undergoes continuous developments and upgrades with the result that Conrac today offers flat panel displays for highly specific purposes: protected in special, temperature-controlled housings for outdoor use or with vandal-proof glass panels for rough public environments.
