In the field of Airport Technology, Goldhofer has defined new standards world-wide and has revolutionised the market with the design of towbarless aircraft tractors. Today, the Goldhofer aircraft tractor range AST consists of four basic types with some variants which cover almost all civil aircraft. The towbarless aircraft tractors of the AST 1 X range are designed to move aircraft up to 600 tons MTOW (e.g. A380) in a faster, safer, more flexible and economical way.
For the recovery of damaged or inoperable aircraft, Goldhofer has developed a recovery and transport system which more and more airports all over the world consider as standard equipment.
