The Bombastus-Werke was established in 1904 as a family-company for producing natural remedies and natural cosmetics in Freital near Dresden.
They produce a wide range of products in accordance GMP and the compositions using many medical herbs, aspecially sage.The firm is the biggest sage cultivator in Middle Europe and use modern practics of ecological agriculture.
The compositions using the flowers, leaves and roots from sage as the basis for different preparations. The idea of the company is according to principle of the doctor, chemist and philosopher Bombastus Theophrast von Hohenheim, called Paracelsus
