Hrađfrystistöđ Ūķrshafnar (The Ūķrshöfn freezing plant, HŪ) runs one of the most advanced capelin factories in Iceland, together with fish processing for pelagic fish species. The company also operates two fishing vessels, a purse seiner and trawler Jupiter ŪH363 and a diverse catching vessel Ūorsteinn ŪH–363 

The objective of HŪ is to continue to be a dynamic fishing company that makes products of the highest quality from sustainable fish stock. HŪ products are only of the highest quality. The company utilizes the HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) system, plus the fish meal factory has started to use the FEMAS control system. This, along with decades of wexperince in catching and processing fish has provided HŪ´s customers with superion-quality product.
